On election night, I had the privilege and fun distraction of styling and attending this small gathering of Scout Guide ladies at the beautiful home of Stephanie Spackman! The food was (as always) insanely good prepared by Chef Matt Oda from Bistro Catering. I am lucky enough to get to try his delicious dishes at every event I do with Bistro Catering and am always blown away that food can be so good in such remote places.
It was fun meeting a few new talented gals and mingling with old friends by the fire.
I loved creating the centerpieces which were large but lovely! The flower arrangements were made up of lots of different textures and foliage that felt distinctly fall. Utilizing pink pepper berries, Magnolia leaves, chocolate geranium, and fruiting persimmons in the arrangements made them smell peppery and fragrant. The garden roses, orange ranunculus, and scabiosa made the arrangements feminine and wild.
The crystal stemware was my grandmother's. I love to get it out any time I can! The linens were from La Tavola, and the flatware from Montana Party Rentals.
Thanks to all for a fun evening and pleasant distraction on election night!
